EHOS Assist — Laboratory Safety Management Platform
EHOS Assist is a laboratory safety management platform developed for the Environmental Health and Occupational Safety (EHOS) department of the City College of New York (CCNY).
The system was designed to digitize laboratory safety operations, improve communication between EHOS personnel and laboratory operators, and centralize inspection, scheduling, waste-management, and user-management workflows.

Challenge
The existing laboratory safety processes relied heavily on:
emails phone calls manual record keeping
making communication inefficient and making it difficult to track inspections, waste pickups, safety violations, and laboratory personnel information.
Solution
Designed and developed a centralized web-based management platform that digitized laboratory safety workflows and provided dedicated dashboards for both laboratory operators and EHOS personnel.
The platform integrated scheduling, inspections, waste management, account approval workflows, and operational reporting into a single system.

- Developed the front-end of a web application supporting laboratory waste management processes
- Built user interfaces using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and PrimeNG
